Bilateral project between CNR (Italy) and CNPQ (Brazil).
For CNR the scientific coordinator is Chiara Renso from institute ISTI and the CNPQ scientific coordinator is Prof. Jose de Macedo from Federal University of Ceara'. The other CNPQ partner involved is Federal University of Santa Catarina (Prof.a Vania Bogorny).
The project started in 2012 and is about establishing a joint collaboration for studying analysis and data mining methods for semantic trajectories.
The project aims as building a synergy between the CNR-ISTI expertise on trajectory data mining and the CNPQ-UFC and CNPQ-UFSC expertise in semantic trajectories.
